Pushing Daisies

ABC...Yes, YOU, American Broadcast Company. You suck--plain and simple! I am soooo tired of watching your station, and in the future, it is unlikely that I will. I wish this were about you robbing Cheryl and Gilles of the DWTS mirror-ball trophy this year, but oh no...this goes way deeper than that folks.

I guess it started with you screwing me out of Men in Trees, then messing around with Scrubs, and then canceling the only show on your station worth giving my time up for...Pushing Daisies!

This show was Amazing from start to finish. The writing was original, the cast were second to none, and it was finally a show that your network could be proud of...but then what did you go and do? You cancelled the damn thing.

I am beyond bitter...and I guess all I can say is, "thank God for CBS!"...wait, what's that I hear...who are you? who who....who who.

Scripps National Spelling Bee...F-U-N, fun.

My family and I love this event. I am glad it gets it's own prime time spot.

This group of students are exceptional individuals and their spelling, their techniques, and their all-around "good kid" karma is motivational to say the least.

Right off, though...we all pick the kid we like or that we hope wins it all , the kid that will probably win, and the kid we can't wait to watch lose (Yes, I know that is mean...but it is true. Sorry, little spellers!)

Nonetheless, this year was a great year. None of us picked the winner, but we all loved the gal that won...and her little sister, too! (Get it from Wizard of Oz...she's from Kansas...LOL)

Anyway, Congratulations Kavya Shivashankar from Olathe, Kansas!

Mother's Day 2009

I am truly blessed to still have my mother, be a mother, and know so many wonderful mothers that have had such a profound impact on my life. Let's celebrate them all today!

I want an iPhone!

Did you hear that Appalachian Wireless?

I am so fed up with being years behind everyone else.

I'm OK with using your service.

I like supporting "mountain" businesses, but c'mon already.

The rest of the world got this thing a year ago...
or was it 2?

I do not want the Hint, the Finesse, the Dover, or the whatever-the-special-is-today!

I want an iPhone!
NOW!
